cloned car

i bought a bmw and had 2 hpi checks and both came back clear before i bought it .1 week later the local police told me it had been stolen , lucky for me i got to keep the car after paying the ins company off. the car came back as cloned i have since put all original i d back on car and want to know if i can have the stolen /recovered taken off the hpi company ?even at a cost can any body help me thanks jim .
