1993 Golf "In O2" message?

The digital mileometer display on my 1993 L Reg Golf displays the message "In O2" for a few seconds when the engine is first switched on. Can anyone tell me what this means?

It's a service warning. The display can tell you: "Oil" for just a filter change. "IN 01" for an inspection 1 type service which is slightly more than just and oil and filter. Lastly "IN 02" which means the car is suggesting a full service is needed.
