ive noticed my carpet in passengers footwell is wet

could be the windscreen or failing that the door skin has not been replaced properly or is missing .Had this problem when a radio was fitted and speakers placed in doors

what !nobody mentioned heater matrix,
i suppose we have had a lot of rain lately.

One way to check if it is the heater matrix leaking is to apply some of the water to the tip of your tongue - if it tastes sweet you are tasting the antifreeze in the cooling water - had this problem in an old fiesta of mineand was given this tip by a mech. head friend.

Is the footwell in a mini or an articulated truck? A little bit more information would help.
