I am trying to find a photo of the above car first brought out about 1936/37 and sold for �100 new--can anyone help--My Dad bought a maroon one

Please note that the links already supplied correctly identify the model designation of these pre-war Fords. You will see that the name "Popular" does not appear. This model name was not used by Ford until the 1950's. However as the 1950's Popular was basically the same old pre-war vehicle many people have wrongly used this name to refer to earlier variants.
