Rover Metro 1.4 P reg immobiliser
Hi all,
My sis is in a spot of bother 'cos her immobiliser has stopped working and she cant start the car.
From googling I found and she tried these methods to no avail:
1. Disconnecting a small white connector that would supposedly reset it. It didn't.
2. New batteries for remote.
3. Using the four-digit number in the manual and doing some wierd key routine to do with the numbers (clockwise, anti-clockwise)... that one seemed like a real long shot.
4. Opening door, put window down, d/c battery for few mins, put some power pack on for few mins, etc, this method also seemed too funny to work.
I think that's it. Does anyone know how you ACTUALLY get it working again? If I've been vague don't hesitate to ask for more info, I haven't seen the car at the moment.
Thanks,
Joe
