What is the average fine for careless driving and how long do the points stay on your license

you could be fined anything between �60 to �250,also depending on how careless your driving was,you could receive between 3 and 11 points,the points will stay on your licence for 4 yrs,but only count for 3 yrs.

Thanks Norman. I made minimal contact with another vehicle no injuries to anyone, only damaged my own car ,recieved maximum fine and 3pts.

found the answer norman, the points are on your licence for 3 years but cannot be removed until 4 years have elapsed
