Hi can anyone tell me if this car has a fuel cut off switch and if so where is it located ?.

I am trying to find out why there is no fuel coming out of the pump at the front of the engine (i have disconnected one of the lines that go to the injectors) so if anyone has any more ideas what to check next, that would be helpful too. Thanks.

There might be a solenoid switch on the pump, it's a round thing about 25mm ( 1 inch in old money) diameter, if you have the ignition on and disconnect it and touch it to the terminal you will hear it operating (make sure your getting a feed to it first when the ign, is on.

Thanks, i will check it out in a min. is it the one wich has a small cable attached to it - similar to a brake cable on a pushbike ?.
no that's for starting/ running in the cold, it should have an electrical connection, you may need a 7 or 8mm socket.

Ah !, i had a look at it last night, there was a supply going to one connection like you described (with an 8mm nut on) and it then continued on to the 2nd connection (the one with a mechanical cable on).
Now i heard a clicking when touching the 2nd one but not the 1st (the big one near the outlet end of the pump) so im guessing i should replace this and try again ?.

Thanks again for your help
