I filled up at a Texaco garage in Thurrock.. Essex and have got mega problems with the car, Citreon have drained the car �160 bill, confirmed its the petrol and now I am waiting for a sensor which will be about �300.
My problem is that I did not fill up at Tesco or Morrisons.
Has anyone one else had a problem with Texaco pls ? and what do I do next, the garage has a petrol sample for me to claim, but from whom ?husband reg blind and cant help me, will some kind soul pls advise me ?

I'm awaiting the same sensor �300 from a Peugeot garage, my car has been there for 4 days and i'm not likely to get it back before the 17th!!

I filled up at Tesco's but have been speaking to the trading standards and my insurance company as well. I would suggest trading standars first and also contact Texaco direct for further assistance.

many tks. I wont get my car back before Mon if then, but I do Have a Citroen courtesy car, my bank statemant has arrived and previous to Texaco, I filled up at Tesco and after that the problems began.
amazing how dear these sensors have become suddenly, I bet they wholesale for less than �50!
