Peugeot 306 oil pressuse high ?? Help please !

Hi i have just bought a peugeot 306 xsi 2.0 i petrol
It has a standard fuel pressure gauge ranging from 0 to 8 bar. is it normal for it to constantly be at 8 bar when driving and about 6 when ticking over. getting .
worried and dont want to drive it. is this normal if not what could be causing it

if we're talking fuel pressure most electronic systems only run around 45psi, oil pressure generally around 70psi max but can be around 15 psi at idle when hot

What an idiot i am, i mean oil pressure not fuel ,
Blocked oil filter or incorrect type fitted I would have a guess to be the cause - dont know if its normal or not.
Would have a guess - yes. Needs a higher pressure to kep the metal apart when rotation/moving.
