i have two and a half months road tax left . But want to sell the car and ant too put six month on to give it a better chance of sale. how do you tax it again when it has not expired

offer it up for sale with 6 months tax and if someone is interested tell them the truth and make an allowance for the 3 and a half months tax they would expect.

you cant tax the car until at least 15 days before its due,just sell it as it is and say you will pay for another 6 months,included in the deal.
