Electrics on Peugot 306 W reg - problems

red igintion light comes on when reving car, should go off to indicate battery being charged, but battery charged, the next fault windows don't come down, fuse keeps blowing, been in garage for 2 hours charged �70 couldn't find anything, please can anyone help my son. Thank you.

Don't go to a garage- get a proper autoelectrician to look at it. The two faults are probably not connected: you could have a dead alternator which is not charging the battery: the red light comes on when the alternator isn't charging, it's no indication of battery condition however, but an autoelectricial will be able to check this straight away, if you want to know how to check yourself with a multitester, come back and I'll tell you.

The window thing could be something else entirely- that will be caused by a fault in the wiring or switch, a poor earth, or most likely a dead window motor putting a big load on the circuit- you're going to have to get the door cards off and check- again, something an autospark can easily test, and if you have the doorcards off already it'll save labour costs.
