un needed car insurance

if i bought a years insurance on my car in january and then lost my licence in march. so now dont have a car. should i tell the insurance company with view to seeing if any of it was refunable. or should i just not say anything and wait till next year?

you must inform your company of any changes to your licence,ie,points,bans,etc.if you dont and they find out in future,you will be put on the fault register and maybe denied car insurance in the future,and they will not pay out on any claim,you may have in future.

Yes, you should get a return of premium for the portion of the policy you haven't used.
