I have just taken my VW polo 1.2 (02 plate) into the garage coz it kept cutting out at taffic lights etc, basically whenever I take my foot off the accelerator! anyway they have said it needs a new catalytic converter which is V expensive. im concerened because the car has only done 30,000 miles! is this normal for a cat to just go?
