hiring a van

We need to hire a van or motor caravan to drive to Italy load up with our stuff and bring back to England. Where can we hire a vehicle from in the area of rushden or wellingborough (northamptonshire)

you may have a problems finding a hire firm which will allow you to take it out of the country.
the last few vans ive hired have a clause on the rental agreement stating that you are not permitted to take the vehicle out of the country
they have had problems with their vehicles being confiscated by customs and excise when the van has been used to go on a booze run over the channel.

ps you may be better off buying a cheapish van then selling it on when youve done the biz.

yes I see your point we have thought of that too I don't know how much a hire would cost and it will take at least a week traveling to and from Italy plus time to load up. Better start looking for vans for sale then
