Personalised Numberplate
If i buy a car with a personalised numberplate is it possible to get the original car numberplate back from the DVLA? How much would this cost? I assume the car would come with the paperwork saying what the original numberplate was?

Most times you will be allocated the original number. The �105 fee is for retaining the personalised number is made up of two parts. �25 per year to keep it on a retention certificate and �80 transfer fee.
