Noisy wipers

Why would new Champion wiper blades make a scraping noise on my Mercedes C-class. I have tried using a windscreen cleaner but no difference. Are Champion blades just rubbish?

No Champion make excellent wiper blades - its the merc thats rubbish

Champion are one of the better makes - another are Bosch.

Problem solved. Fitted Valeo wipers and threw away the Champions. Perfect!!
