Damage by Learner Driver (unsupervised), my rights?
A learner driver has damaged my car, she hasn't rammed into me and caused thousands of pounds of damage or anything but enough to p*ss me off.
It was on a car park and she mounted a curb, clipped a 'Welcome' sign which then buckled and part of it fell onto my wing. Few scratches so its basically a paint job.
My worry is though as this woman was driving unsupervised, (she allegedly let her husband out of car at entrance to car park so he could run to cashpoint and she would park car) then the insurance she has will not be valid and I won't be able to claim to get my wing resprayed?
Any ideas?
She is being done by police for 'Driving outside the accordance of a License' at the moment and they are waiting to see if 'Driving without Insurance' is to be added to the list.
