Renault scenic Query ECU

We recently broke down in our Renault Scenic 1.6 alize and was told it was the starter motor and before the break down and since then the car has 3 lights come on at times when driving and we lose all power causing the car to jerk then it starts again without having to do anything. We have been told it could be the ECU breaking down ad nothing ca be done until it breaks down and wont start. Does anyone have any answers? Please.

The only answer I can give is to tell you to go to a Renault dealer and get them to do a diagnostic check which should tell you what is wrong.

You could get better answer if you join this forum.
