How do I remove sticky marks from old sticker off car paintwork.. what is safe to use?

Personally, I wouldn't use T cut on the first attempt and certainly not nail varnish remover, which is cellulose based - probably the same as your car's paint. It would certainly remove the sticky marks and probably some of the paint as well !
I would first use hot soapy water and a cloth. If that didn't work then I would use white spirit on a cloth. This should do the trick and won't harm the paint if washed off with soapy water.
