Anyone know if the VW lupo has a hydraulic clutch pedal or a cable on the clutch pedal?

I don't know about this model - but if it's got an hydraulic clutch it will have a 'clutch slave cylinder' under the bonnet - if you can locate it. It's a smallish part, about 4-5 inches in length - it looks like a bar with a cone shaped end on it - well that's how I would best describe it. A seal sits in the cone shaped end - that's what went on my Fiat Punto - the seal was leaking and a new cylinder was �60.
