my girlfriend is 19 and just passed her test i have put her on my insurance which is 3rd party only as a named driver it didnt cost me any extra is this right my car is a 98 rover 400 2.0 dti

Make sure her name and all the details are correct on the policy.

You may be due to renewal of your insurance policy and therefore there would be less or no payment due until you renew..however I would double check the details you given to avoid any misunderstanding.

this kind of happened to me, i ADDED my mum as a named driver, and my policy went DOWN....

it because they deem that you will be driving the car a less percentage of teh time, and your lady is less of a risk, so therefore teh premium comes down.

Cos ur g.f is a lady but 19, ythe good point is even with teh bad one, so it ballences out....
