My car passed it's MOT apparently whilst i was away, clever little motor, but the light on the lighting up bit still lights up saying 'airbag' as it apparently is nothing to do with the MOT, i have switched it off but it is still lit statically, so what is up? is it a fuse or a computer thingy. i don't have a computer in the car i don't think, it is a red peugeot 306 (or 7) hang on i will look.......6

No my daughters boyfriend took it to the garage in the village. i switched the airbag off with the key cos the light was blinking and now it is just illiminated.

You'll need to get it plugged in to find out what's causing the problem. On 306's it's usually the wiring under the seat that's faulty. There's a connector plug that mucks up, we normally cut the plug out and solder the wires together.

I have the same problem on my Renault Clio but I'm putting up with it as I was quoted a fortune by the Renault garage just to take the seat out.
