Does anyone know if it's possible to get car insurance for just a few weeks? It'll probably be 6-8 weeks. Does it work out more expensive?

Most short term cover seems to be for a maximum of 28 days, but longer periods of cover may well be available. Online quotes are given by some of the sites found here...
