306 dturbo sticky clutch

sticky clutch. the pedal seems stiff. works fine but hard at times to push down. is this common or can it be easily fixed.

You don,t mention the milage , I would imagine that the clutch needs replacing . The clutch on all vehicles tend to get heavier the older they get , as the driven or friction plate wears and the lubricant on the pivot points on the pressure plate dries up with the heat . No quick fix i,m afraid.
