mini, rattling/knocking

hi my brothers 02 mini has started knocking in the rear suspension while cornering or going over bumps, he told me its a problem with minis but does anyone know what exactly it is? possibly Toureman? tia

If this has developed over time and hasn't been there since new then it certainly needs looking at.

Could be
Anti-roll bar bushes or the shocks themselves.

would recommend getting it looked at as, if it worsens, it can cause uneven tyre wear and will cost more to replace.

i done a couple of rear trailing arm bushes before in the new minis but im not aware of any common problem.
