Immobiliser on Peugeot 206

After disconnecting the battery and replacing the engine on my 206 the immobiliser will not reset so cannot start the car. Any ideas please.

the same happened to my mate with his 206 peugeot tried resetting the ecu which didnt work so had to pay for a new ecu

My battery is dead and I don't know how to reset the immobiliser on my 206.Any ideas please.
