Fiat Punto X reg

I have an X reg fiat punto, recently the left hand indicator has started speeding up as I brake. I have no idea what has cause this, can anyone offer any suggestion as to what the problem may be?

Spunds like you have an earthing problem with one of your brake lights, it's drawing current from the indicator bulb and making the circuit run faster.
