driving late and frost

I'm doing a 250 mile trip ending in plymouth and thinking of starting at 1 pm but that means I arrive at plymouth at 8 pm am I likely to ecounter frost on the way ? would it be more advisable to leave the next day at 7 am ? or 9 am ?

I would have thought you would encounter more frost starting at 7am than at 1pm the previous day.

I would stick with the 1pm start, you should be fine.

yes I was thinking that as I typed and realized I would not be getting in as late as I presumed I'll have to see about arangments the other end
