my escort rev counter has stopped working altogeter everything else works but not that,although it sometimes flickers a bit as if its trying to move any ideas?? could it be the clocks?? ive checked the connection plugs at the back of the clocks and they are secure.

I'd suspect a poor earth connection somewhere.

i agree with jake, sounds like a wiring problem. but i'd check the needle first because that'd be the easiest to check and fix.
