parking outside your own property

does anyone know if there is a law to ,
how many vehicles can be kept that we own be left on the road,we live in a cul-de sac own three vehicles ,all tax,mot etc , we have a complaint from the council that someone has put in about our vehicles, but we are not the only one's with more than three vehicles, we do not block anyone and no one are allocated spaces to houses, but two vehicles are commercial but were not the only ones though .
