However I hardly need a satnav, as I am pretty nifty on navigation. It is just occasionally I am sent to a town or an industrial estate that I don't know. It is just the final bit of the route I need help with. I therefore wondered whether it is worth buying the cheapest.

panic, get the 200 wide or the 250 wide. bigger screen and easier to hit the digits on said bigger screen. if there is the slightest chance of using it abroad get the 250. only a tenner more (and �40 if u try to buy mapping latter.)
it might be more than a tenner difference now halfords have dropped the prices.
