Finding car colour

Can anyone out there tell me of an easy way to identify the colour of my car? On the log book it just says Blue, but I need the exact shade so I can get a match pot to do some minor touch up work. I thought maybe there is a site out there where you can input your reg plate and it will bring it up!

If anyone could help I would be very grateful!

you dont say what make of car but the paint code is usually on the same plate as your chassis number
