I took my Renault to the local dealership for its annual service/MOT. When I paid, I noticed the invoice was made out to another man with the same surname as me who lived at a different address. I asked for a replacement with the correct details (for my accounts), was told it would be posted to me. When it never arrived after 10 or so days, I rang and asked again. The dealership boss says he can't and won't issue me with a printed invoice with my name on it. He said he may send me a handwritten one, but that hasn't arrived either. What do you think is going on? Is there any way I can make him send a corrected printed invoice? Is there a governing body for such matters?
