Warning light?!

I have got an 03 Fiat punto 1.2 active sport the steering wheel light is on continually, why is this as I cant find anywhere to top up with a steering fluid?!

Is this on the bottom left hand corner of your dashboard display? If it is look abround the radio area and there is a button marked city( this is to help you get maximum turn in and out of tight parking spots lock to lock of the wheel) if you press the button and the light goes out you will also notice a difference in the cars handling.

These have electonic power steering hence nowhere to top up, they were prone to failure and a complete steering columb/ecu might be required these used to a couple of hundred quid when i used to work for fiat

yes i had the same trouble had to have new steering column 275 quid solved the problem
