306 crankshaft pulley

Hi,can anyone tell me if the crankshaft pulley on 306 2.0 hdi is the same as the 206 and 406 hdi's. I have just had to replace mine but now the engine management light has come on. Coincidence or is there something I should know. The only difference I can see in the pulley's is on the back. On the old one there are two small holes drilled in it and the new one has three. I'm assuming that these are for balancing the pulley and nothing else.As it only drives the auxillary belt I asume that there is no timing of anything to set up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

some of the peugeot disel engines have a dual mass pulley maybe this is oworth looking at or maybe there is a certain pulley to coincide with a particular crankshaft position sensor.
