What size wheel trims do I order please?
8 Answers
I have had the wheel trims stolen from my fiesta. I want to order a new set via the internet.. The diameter of the wheel is approx 14". Do I order 14" wheel trims. I have got confused because the trims offered for sale for fiestas come in 13" AND 14" . The tyre size is 165/70 R13. Excuse my ignorance, but I am only a mere woman and things to do with cars go right over my head.LOLi

The last digits on your tyre size refer to the diameter of your wheel. Also, make a note of whether the wheels use 4 or 5 studs to attach them, and choose your wheel trims accordingly...a wheel trim moulded for a 4-stud wheel may not fit on a 5-stud wheel, and vice versa.
go to a sunday market or car boot and get a set at a decent price don't buy frauds expensive ones.
unless you like paying over the odds.
as every one has said look on the tyre. it'll say 13 or 14 as part of the tyre size.also you can now get colour matched cable ties to keep them on a bit better. (look on flea-bay )

It is a confusing one. I recently replaced my trims and was confused... was it 14" or was it 15" hmmmm. Any hows I found this website http://www.quickhubs.com
If you go to the individual manufacturer page ie http://www.quickhubs.com/ford-wheel-trims.html then there are some really goo details about how to know what size wheel trim you will need.
