What Car Should I Get?

Hi, I'm after a car! It's got to be an estate, have Air Con, preferably be diesel and cost less than three grand. I've seen a 98 'S' BMW 520i touring with 92000 miles on it for about �2000. Any BM owners got opinions of this car or the diesel versions? Or can people give me other recommendations of their favourite estates?
