Citroen C3 - Random Headlight Flashing
Problem- Driving in daylight with lights switched off, indicate to turn either way and side lights + headlights will switch on & off repeatatively but not necessarily at the speed of the indicators. All you notice is, if you are lucky, that the dasboard lights dim/flicker as the lights are switched on & off & the green "lights on" warning symbol flickers. Also you may see the lights reflecting in the car in front and/or people responding to what they think are flashed lights to either. A very dangerous situation.
Dealer looks on in dismay as nothing happens (Sod's Law applies) & AA can't find it.
Any advice please

The stalk was replaced about 6 months ago under warranty, as the 1st one would self cancel directly into the opposite direction. That was cured but now this. Nothing has been done to the control at all, other than normal usage. No children have access to it. Any ideas ?
Hi again, You say the stork was replace 6 months ago! Why? was this problem the same as you are now getting? If so take the car back to where they stork was replaced, Regards the check by the AA with repect to their work force & they do, do a good job they are not Auto Electric Qualified, I am self taught with a lot of things & a lot I get right but I still say this is a Short, You said that the Dash light dims, A bad connection can cause this, I would not advise looking in this area yourself as you know, You could be disturbing wires!!!!
