I have a peugeot 206 and the light has gone on my mileage display. All other dash display lights are working fine. Is this a separate bulb which will be easily replaced?

It may just be a fuse ... check the manual for the correct position for the fuse, swap with another (of the same "colour") and see if this works... if so just buy a replacement fuse ..... pence!!
It is unlikely that the problem is a fuse, as all of the dash lights will normally run through a one or two fuses, ie they will all go out, not just one. The problem will be a single bulb or LED which illuminates that area of the display. It can be quite awkward to change the offending buld/LED. It is usualy necessary to strip down the dash to some degree and airbags etc may need to be disconnected, and possibly the steering wheel removed, it all depends on make, model, year etc. Unfortunately you may have to take the car to a garage
If it is the bulb then its easy to replace. Its a 50p bulb from most auto spares shops. The surround cover of the top of the "binacle" just pulls upwards from the windscreen end. This gives you access to the single bulb that is behind the mileage.
just the odometre/er bulb guett a nuw car perhaps a buick
