With respect to the last answer, For the price of a belt to the price of a Cylinder Head which could work out in the Hundreds, I would chage the belt at least at 55000.
Garage say change at 50t . IF you intend to keep the car then look at changing at 40t a small price to pay against the cost involved IF the belt breaks, above assuming its petrol.
Autodata (the industry bible) and Peugeot dealers both quote 80,000..under normal road conditions. i.e. not competition/taxi/stop start delivery .I have owned a 1.4 petrol (currently own a 1.4 diesel) i was more than confident to put 50,000+ on the clock and not worry about it
