I am currently looking to buy a car seat for my son who is 21 months old. I have tried comparing many on the market. My car is fairly modern and has 'isofix' points. However, i work overseas regularly and my parents care for him when my wife works. My parents like to take him out in the car when possible, though their car is a little older and only has standard rear seat belts. Is there a good quality seat on the market that is easily fitted and removed in both older and newer cars.
Thanks, Alb

The simple answer is yes. However not all 21 month old children are the same thus deciding upon a suitable carseat is not straightforward.
We took our grandaughter to Toys R Us in my daughters car and spoke with a member of staff dedicated to this issue. She sat Ella in several and checked the head positions and width etc. The seat we bought is fitted in by means of the rear seat belts and is very secure.
I agree. Most places that sell a good selection of quality car seats for children'll have staff on hand to measure, and advise you. Also bear in mind that children grow quickly, so get one which's big, yet secure enough for your coming needs.
