Garmin nuvi 300T Satnav

Tesco have this satnav with traffic information on offer at 99.
Why shouldn't I buy one?
Also if you set it up without giving it a destination, so it just shows maps, does it still give traffic information?

If you zoom out, the traffic shows green or amber or red on affected roads regardless of route. If on your route it will show warning triangle when 50 miles away or less even when zoomed in.
Has saved me many delays but sometimes only comes up ten minutes after you get nose to tail.

Ha, they sold out while I was dilly dallying.
Comet had price matched, for store collection only, but have now bumped it up 20.
There is a widescreen basic traffic one - the 205WT, currently going for about 150 at best. I'll hang on for that to go on offer one day. It is for my family to give me for my birthday in September.
Thanks all
