What may happen?

i got into a accident, caused by another driver. i have no insurance, but the other driver jumped a red light and was speeding which caused the accident. i have a witness who saw everything.
problem now the drivers insurance want to try and claim from me or report me to the british driving authority about me having no insurance.

if his insurance say i cant claim then i will repay the car damage myself. i have just finished uni aswel.
thanks for the advice. but the ploice came to the scene and didnt take a report, nothing. in my eyes looks like the driver who caused the accident got away with an arrest. because he jumped a red light, write off two other cars from on-coming cars on the opposite road. one car he write had his wife and two kids, i mean there must be a law with driving like that

yes but thats his problem, their is also a law on insurance and all you seem bothered about is getting your car fixed. So have you got some now?

whether this is a guy or not, makes no difference to the circumstances, I agree he/she has broken the law, and should be made to pay, all I'm saying we shouldn't be too critical, I will be hones and say I have done litterally hundreds of road offences, including drunk driving, alright it was many many years ago, but happened just the sam, I was lucky and got away with most of them.
What i'm trying to say, and not making a very good job of,

is that most of us have done something wrong,

and 4get don't give me any more ideas about looking in other topics as iv'e just spent an hour fixing engines, and wasted a whole lot of time, :-(

im not bothered about the car, i dnt car about the car. i know i have done sumin wrong and probably might pay for it, but it looks like the driver will get away with for what he done. he needs points on his license because his driving is not correct and was very dangerous.
i will probably pay for what i done, driving without no insurance, but that driver needs also to be punished.

worry about yourself, how do you know he hasnt been given an NIP for driving without due care etc?

I know its makes no differnce I just wondered why you assumed, not very often a man would assume a man had been silly. And you know you love the other topics :-) Kase at least you have insurance now.

agree with logic. Driving without insurance is no doubt very wicked but the only person kase has hurt is himself. He wasn't the one writing off other people's cars. The lesson he's learned is that insurance isn't to protect you when you drive badly, it's to protect you when other people do so.

Incidentally, no reason why the other driver's insurance should claim a penny from you if you're innocent. I'd fight any attempt to do so.

I hope if you that you have some form of assets and they take you to court and put a charge on your house or on your wages to reclaim what they have to pay out to anyone injured by you.
I was injured by a unisured driver 4 years ago and damaged my back by an idiot like you and i am still suffering over it
and i have to go to work,you make me sick and one day i hope you get hit by a car and put in a wheel chair by a unisured driver and then you to can loose thousands of pounds and nearly loose your house like me because the MIB hevent even compensated me scumbag .

so who would you prefer to encounter on the road, david - an insured driver who hits you or an uninsured driver who doesn't? On the whole, I'd sooner it was kase coming my way.
