Please help on this one.
I was travelling North on the M1 last week when I noticed a patrol car on the southbound carrigeway pointing at about 70 degrees towards the northbound traffic.I was in the outside lane doing close to the 100mph mark.I couldn't detect any external cameras on the patrol car when i saw it too late!
My question is could I get done by a laser aimed across the carrigeway given the angle they'd have to shoot at?
Could video evidence be used if the patrol car was stationary?
Are there any other ways I could get done?

Would appreciate any advice here.

If you are going to drive at 100mph on a British road, it is only a matter of time before you get caught, thank God.
Hi, If you would have had a blow out at that speed I dont think you need to worry about the Camera, You will not do it again if you get done for a few months ( If your lucky).
Drive at 100MPH+ and you will get your licence suspended straight away for 3 years.

Second, it would depend on the way the other carageway was. Doubt they would as the central res barrier would have blocked your index plate unless it was on a gantree or overpass where he might have caught it.
Not in the UK, you won't.

Disqualification periods for (say) 110mph would be around 56 days.
