I have a problem and would like some help? The problem is, when its damp or a bit cold outside, i turn on my engine and it seems to judder. I have a Vauxhall Corsa 1998 1.2 4 cylinder. Like I said, its only when the weather is damp or cold. When I start driving, and I put my foot down on the accelerator, the car judders if you will, (like kangooring). I've changed the spark plugs and the air filter, but this has had no effect. Can anyone give a possible diagnosis for the problem?

Thanks

Sorry I don't have a cure for your problem.

I am also sorry you got an answer like the one above, new members of the answerbank join just to get reactions because they don't have a life of their own, just ignore it.
and they also guess at things they know absolutely sod all about, if they did they would know that this car does not have a carburrettor, it does however have an engine management system so maybe worth having a dignostics check done if the problem isnt obvious to the naked eye.
skippy's ghost has possessed it
Not only does this model not have a carb, it doesn`t have a distributor either. Before having a diagnostics check, you can check the condition of the spark plugs & security of HT lead & other electrical connections. An HT lead "breaking down" internally will give an intermittent misfire before complete failure.
Sorry, just spotted that you changed the plugs.
Good to see the editor got rid of the offending answer so quick !
