Juddering

Hello, i have a 2000 fiat punto petrol. When i first drive her in the morning she judders, like i have kangaroo fuel!
This lasts for about 5 mins driving then she is fine. If i then stat the car later in the day she is fine and doest do it? any ideas what is causing it to do it as it is only when i start her up first thing in the morning?

If it is the 8 valve engine then would expect to find that the head gasket has blown, allowing water to seep into either no1 or no4 cylinder, check in the morning for lots of steam and water from the exhaust rev the engine and you should see it easily, also check the water leval when cool, as you might find this is low
If it is the head gasket expect a garage to charge about 3.5 hours labour plus parts, the cylinder head should not need skjmming
if the water leval is ok and there is no steam from cold then i would suspect spark plugs or leads

no steam when cold so will check the plugs and leads, thanks for that
