Is it true that traffic wardens now take digital photos of your car after they have issued a ticket? My friend was told, in the post, that she had received a ticket in Blackpool that hadnt been paid, but she doesnt recall a ticket being on her windcreen when she returned to the car. After querying, they sent her ten (yes 10) photos of the ticket on her windscreen. Not only that, they took pics of inside her car close up e.g. all the empty macdonalds cartons on the floor and the baby seat etc. Obviously she paid the fine after she realised that someone must have removed the ticket.
Yes I can see its true Ethel - as you so rightly point out - what I perhaps should have said is - does anyone know if this is common practice now or indeed legal ?
why would it be illegal?? they are in a public place and have a vested interest in the space that you park in!! why do you think sky 1 get away with programmes like road wars!!
Yes, it is common practice, and yes, it is legal. After all, speed cameras take photos to be used as evidence.
In fact, it would be legal for any passer by to take a photo of a car, as long as the photographer wasn't on private property without permission to take it.
