Hi I have owned a 1999 1.1 206 for almost two months and have had to have the clutch changed because of a loose b earing but still sometimes te clutch pedal when pressed down to change gears doesnt want to come back up. And also theres a tapping noise coming from i think the auxiliary belt and when i pour water on it it stops? Any help on these two? Many thanks my boyfriend thinks i imagine the clutch clipping becuase it only happens a few times. Than ks

Sorry i meant in the last bit the clutch sticking.
if it is a hydraulic clutch then it may need to be bled again, otherside it could be the release/thrust bearing not sliding back and forth freely
Sounds to me as though the clutch inner cable is frayed and the strands are snagging on the outer sheath, it shouldn't be that expensive to replace. I'd be interested to know which bearing was loose that necessitated a clutch change.(?)
As for the belt ticking, mine makes a ticking sound when the engine is idling, in my case I think it is caused by the alternator after a cold start and it goes away once the battery has recovered its charge. You could get the belt changed and correctly tensioned and see if that cures it. They don't last forever.
