am thinking of either chipping or having car put on computor to boost up power and torque have heard plenty good points about having it done but no negatives any suggestions please.... p.s have a 52 plate mondeo 2.0 tdci estate will be pulling caravan.

i wish ,at 45 just want to pull a caravan and get the best performance i can get
Got my Passat done last year and the first thing that happened was the clutch went! Mine is now supposed to be 165bhp which I don't disbelieve as I have plenty of overtaking power. To tell you the truth I think it was a waste of money, �250, as fuel economy is down slightly and I barely need the extra power. But thats just me!!
Ah i see, is it diesel then,?
If so why dont you get somebody to adjust the dump valve on the waste gate, that will in effect bring in the turbo a bit faster, and give you more torque, which is more like what you need for towing.
