I have an 02 Sharan that has recently seen a 20-30% loss in power. The car is serviced privately so the garage do not reset the service now display. Car works perfectly otherwise. Anyone got any ideas?

The service display would not effect the power loss, Stupid Q you may think, have you any Mats/Carpets obstructing the Accelerator? have you checked the throttle cable for stretch? If you have paid a Garage for the service & it's not right, take the car back.
